I feel myself becoming a little bit more gentle each and every day. More caring to both myself and to others. Feeling more aware and more present in my interactions and doing my best to be more intentional with my words. Walls are slowly being broken down and emotions are finally being felt. Life can sometimes cause our hearts to harden, but it's important to remember that we are beings that are meant to love. To feel love, to give love and to receive love. We flourish when we are able to be open and vulnerable and share our experiences with others no matter how uncomfortable they might be. That is how we grow and that's how we connect. By working on this little by little each and every day, I am beginning to feel a little bit softer. A little bit lighter. A little bit brighter.
"A connection is the energy that exists between two people when they feel seen, heard and valued; when they can give and receive without judgement; and when they derive sustenance and strength from the relationship."
I want to feel more of that.
