Queen of Trying New Things

I've been known in the past to be the Queen of trying new things. These things are usually a diet or hobby that I am dead set on perfecting. I get super excited and want to share all the details with the whole world so I end up vomiting my opinion on anyone who will listen. I've often gone into new endeavors with a "go big or go home" attitude, which has left me looking like a hypocrite in the end when it doesn't stick.
What I've learned from the past is that your direction in life can change at any moment and what you were interested in today may not be the same tomorrow. So instead, I've been trying to take a more experimental approach and tone. I don't do this to detach myself from responsibility or accountability but to make a clear point that I still don't know 100% what I am doing. When I talk about alcohol, exercise, diet or anything else for that matter, I don't want people to feel like I've got it all figured out because I seriously don't. Far from it actually. I am just sharing what is currently going on in my life and what is currently working for me. What works for me may not work for you and may also not be what works for me months or years from now. Life is a journey that requires trial and error and I would rather attempt a variety of things that have a chance of failing than to have never tried at all. I am tired of the anxiety and fear that comes with caring so heavily about what other people think and I am done holding myself back because of it. I've spent a lot of time guarded, with a huge wall between myself and others, and what I've started to notice recently, is that when I am just the slightest bit vulnerable, it makes others feel more comfortable to be the same. THAT, is why I have this blog and share these things with those who care to listen.
